Self-taught he paints in a realist-impressionist style using the traditional medium of oil paints. His favourite subject is landscapes done direct from nature en "plein air" highlighting the famed natural beauty of his island home.
Born in 1938, he retired from active business in 1995 and found time and opportunity for realizing a cherished ambition. He has since had several successful exhibitions and now paints fulltime.
